Taper's Notes:
This is the only surfaced video footage of the 1992 Off The Deep End tour, this means that this is also the only recording available of Snack All Night. I don't believe that this video has been posted here on Dime before, at least I know for sure my transfer of it hasn't. The only copies I have seen on trade lists have been very high generation sources, a couple years ago I finally acquired a much lower generation VHS copy of the 1992 concert and this is a straight transfer of that tape. I believe that both the 1992 and 1994 videos were filmed by the same person. Audio quality on '92 is not the greatest, though it is better for '94.
Personally these are some of my favorite recordings in my collection. Both concerts were filmed from very close to the stage. A lot of the songs in '92 are unfortunately incomplete.
I included a couple extras on this DVD, the first is Al's appearance on Dr. Demento's 20th Anniversary Comedy Central special in '92. (upgraded tape supplied by Lestatkatt). The second bonus is a 1993 promotional video that was sent out on a VHS tape by Al's record label, this is the only video on that tape that was never aired on TV. It would be amazing if someday that full concert would surfaceÉ it's out there somewhere.
